A YouTube channel of two best friends with one mission: not to take life too seriously. Michael Eldon and Robert Dickson explore new activities, events, and places around Minnesota in a vlog style video series.
As an integral part of the creative team behind Not Taking It Seriously, I contributed both as an editor and occasionally as a videographer, helping to shape the series from behind the scenes. My role involved crafting the narrative flow of each episode, ensuring that the pacing, visual storytelling, and sound worked seamlessly together to intrigue viewers. I also capture b-roll moments on location to bring the creators’ vision to life through careful composition.
By collaborating closely with the producers and talent, I ensured that every episode maintains a consistent, polished quality. Whether editing raw footage into cohesive and impactful episodes or shooting b-roll to match the intended aesthetic, my work supported the creative vision and enhanced the storytelling experience for the audience.
